# Way to change card link to URL in Bases cards view?

### What I’m trying to do

I want to set it so when a card is clicked, instead of opening the note, it will open the link in a property i’ve called ‘url’. (I’d like to use Bases to make shortcuts to some web links).

I’m not sure that is possible without a bases plugin. The closest approach I can think of would be to surface the url property in the card and click that.

Thanks. Yeah that’s what i’m doing. I’m using cards with images so would be cool to just click the image.
