View mode bugs in macOS Big Sur

Steps to reproduce

  1. Edit a file
  2. Use Command + E to switch to view mode

Expected result

Switched to the view mode and using another Command + E hotkey will change it back.

Actual result

Command + E hotkey is disabled after the steps above. Also, clicking on the view change button does not work.

Environment

  • Operating system: macOS Big Sur 11.5.2
  • Obsidian version: Version 1.0.4(21)

I notice the version 1.0.4. That’s the mobile version.

The latest version of Obsidian is 0.12.15. Did you download Obsidian from the App Store? if so, you should instead download from the Obsidian website to get the MacOS desktop version.

The interface will be quite different, and should work better for you.
