Use case or problem
I have lots of notes that might share a tag (for example: “mysql”). Frequently I need to refer to information from one or more of these notes (to get a broad overview of the contents), but having to open each in a separate tab manually involves a lot of switching back and forth to get what I need.
Graph view seems like a good way to get at this information but unfortunately (unlike Canvas), there’s no way to toggle on visibility of the contents of the notes themselves.
Proposed solution
Type in #, tag: followed by the desired tag and View As Canvas.
Alternatively, navigate to a view similar to the Graph mode where you can quickly filter by a single tag but the tagged notes contents are viewable like on a Canvas.

Note that this wouldn’t create an actual Canvas, it’s more of a temporary view like you would have in the Graphs.
