VCF Contacts plugin freezing if icon is selected

What I’m trying to do

Use VCF Contacts 2.2.0 left bar ribbon and right bar contacts icon, rather than the work around of Contacts notes which runs nice and snappy.

Things I have tried

  1. tapping the left bar ribbon Contacts icon freezes up Obsidian v1.9.14 (Installer version: v1.4.16) desktop and the entire desktop machine, requiring a powercycle to regain control.
  2. tapping the right bar no longer has a Contacts icon, rather just a 3 lined icon Outline of old_note_that_is_already_closed.
  3. Work around is using the left bar Contacts folder with contact notes.md that I copied and pasted from the conversion from the cloud contacts.vcf file, which wouldn’t import smoothly into VCF Contacts plugin. (possibly as it’s a mix of Google and Apple contacts and VCF ISO formats?
