Using symbols like “=” or “+” to tag an entry
When making manual notes for meetings, reading an journal, I have a set of symbols that make understanding the entry much easier. For example “+” is used for Reference so that if I read something that is referenced, I know that it came from somewhere else and I want to follow that up. = is used for mood from the bullet journal method and I would like to use “>” that is for a method or process demonstrated and others. I am finding that with many of these symbols being used in markup, they can’t be added meaning that I have to create a tag with a word rather than symbols which would be easier as it keeps both systems consistent and easy to navigate.
Proposed solution
<Please could you allow the use of double or single quotes with a symbol so that we can’t see that but can use a set of symbols->
Current workaround (optional)
<I am currently testing our using full words when typing up notes which works but doesn’t give me the clean interface I was looking for. It means I could just search for #+ for all references in any of the documents instead of having to make do with #Ref or for method having to use an additional number because Mood and Method both start with M>
