Using item number in list as display text in internal link

Hi,

I’m trying to add an internal link in an obsidian note that would be associated to a item in a list in that note (that part I was able to do using #^) and that would also display the number of that item as the displayed text and update it if the position of the item in the list changes.

Any idea how to do that ?

You can’t. A link alias is static information.
