Using Bases as File Linker in Graph View

Hey there.

I personally use Obsidian more in a “File Management System” Way that also happens to include all editors within one app. A part of this is that I sort everything in my own folder hirarchy, with each main folder containing a “main site” linking to all related files in that substructure. For example: If I have a specific Uni Course I have a folder for it with a main file linking to all lecture notes, pdfs etc. Those files are then also arranged in the same folder.

This is partly because I want to have that “I can click through my vault without using the file explorer”-Feeling and because the graph view really reflects that structure (which I find to be gorgous).

I now have experimented a bit with Bases and want to switch from writing down/linking every new file manually to having an embedded base just displaying all files saved in the corresponding folder (Or replacing the main file with a base alltogether). That by itself works, however it does not create any links in the graph viewer. So the base isnt linked to the files it displays/filters for.

Is there any way to achieve this with bases (like through community plugins etc.) or am I just overcomplicating and this whole thing of automatically linking the files can be done easier through other methods?

Im open for any and all suggestions.
Cheers!
