What I’m trying to do
I want to use the tab key to complete AND EXIT links (as in tab moves the mouse cursor after “]]”) instead of being forced to either mouse click out, use the arrow key twice, or use the enter key.
Things I have tried
I looked through all the hotkey bindings but didn’t see how to modify the tab behavior. I have searched the internet, including the forums, for anyone else who wanted to swap tab and enter behavior for links (or even just make tab act like enter because I will never use the current behavior for tab anyway). I have searched through plugins using various key words to see if any plugins might work for changing this inconsistency. I have also tried to find the hotkeys.json file that I saw mentioned a few times but couldn’t find that either (and don’t know if it would work anyway).
Every other software I work with uses tab for fast-completing, and to be honest I expected Obsidian to do the same. Since it doesn’t, I would greatly appreciate learning a workaround in order for it to function consistently with everything else I use. Thanks everyone!
