MathJax recently got a sizable new release in MathJax 3.2.0 which has a number of bug fixes and important updates to Unicode handling as well as additions to the physics package.
Particularly the improved Unicode handling is something I would love to see in Obsidian.
The current version in Obsidian is 3.1.4.
There are a few breaking changes introduced in 3.2.0, but I wouldn’t expect any of them to be an issue for the setup used in Obsidian, and the upgrade would likely just involve updating the vendored version.
