Upgrade not working

What I’m trying to do

I am sorry if this seems simple but I am not a sophisticated obsidian user. I just did the upgrade install as prompted to the apps folder. My Vaults are backed up to Dropbox. Now when I open Obsidian I can see my file structure but all templates are missing and I can’t access any notes nor can I start any note. Any help would be appreciated

You are able to start Obsidian though? Could you do a Show debug info from the command palette, just to verify your version, and any plugins if applicable?
