Use case or problem
The version of the Inter font bundled with Obsidian is outdated. The latest versions of Inter include significant improvements, such as new glyphs, optical sizing, true italics, refined kerning, and various bug fixes.
Keeping the font updated ensures a more polished and typographically correct reading and writing experience for all users by default.
Proposed solution
Replace the existing Inter font files within the Obsidian application with the latest stable release from the official Inter project. This would automatically provide all users with the benefits of the updated font without any manual configuration.
