Universal clipboard won’t work from ios to Obsidian Mac

On further experimentation, it’s not working reliably for me. Or rather, it works when I’m pasting from an iOS app (Drafts, Apple Notes, Quick Capture), but not from an iOS browser or from text captured from an iPhone screenshot.

So the bug is still alive.

Same issue for me. I am using the built-in OCR of my iPhone to copy quotes, questions etc.
Then I want to paste it into the project I am working on on my Mac (It says “Pasting from ‘… iPhone’”, nothing happens though). On any other Mac App (Apple Notes, Craft etc.) it works perfectly fine.
I always have to paste it into Apple Notes (Mac) first, copy it again on my Mac itself, and then paste it into an Obsidian note… which really slows me down when going through a few hundred pages.

… and for me. Obsidian has become my favorite program. Solving this problem would help me a lot in my workflow as it would allow me to import text from books more quickly.

I also encountered this issue. Here’s what I do:

  • Scan and copy text from a book using my iPhone.
  • The copy progress bar on my iMac completes.
  • The text cannot be pasted into a note in Obsidian.
  • However, it can be pasted into Obsidian’s search bar.
  • The text can also be pasted into all other programs.

It seems that the copied text from Apple’s Universal Clipboard is not directly recognized by Obsidian.
