“Undo Close Tab” Action to Re-Open in Previous Location

Continuing the discussion from “Undo Close Tab” Action to Re-Open in Previous Location:

I would like to know which model/app was taken as reference. A lot of things in Obsidian behave like in a browser, but other, like current topic, is completely unexpected for me. Why not reusing browser behavior?

This is specially annoying on mobile, pasting my “BR” below for discoverability.

Tabs position after restoration is not respected on Android mobile

Steps

  1. Create 3 pages (A, B, C) in 3 different tabs
  2. In tab overview/switcher hold tap B one and select “close others”
  3. Restore, via “Undo close tab” available in tab overview/switcher menu, 2 times

Current

  • Tabs reopen in a different position after restoration (they open after the active tab).

Expected

  • Tabs get restored in the position they were before closing (or a command to “undo close all tabs” to avoid cumbersome, one by one, restoration and reordering of tabs.
