Typing wikilink to a frontmatter makes the value invisible and the value actually does not change

Steps to reproduce

  • Open a new note or any existing node in Reading view
  • Add a frontmatter field or use existing one
  • Try to type any wikilink (starting with [[, followed by a page name and ]]) a wikilink to the frontmatter field

Yes

Expected result

  • The value of the frontmatter field gets changed into what I typed and gets rendered as a Markdown link (underline decoration)

Actual result

  • The value of the frontmatter field turns into invisible (not ‘Empty’, literally invisible, field name is still visible)
  • When switching to Editing view, the value of the frontmatter field actually is unchanged

I can’t reproduce and I am not sure I understand.

What is the output of “show debug info command”.

Please, create a new empty vault and try there.
