Two new YAML fields keep appearing

I installed Bases two days ago and haven’t done anything new besides creating two Bases, add the Buttons plug-in, and create a new template.

I’ve checked the template repeatedly and the two new fields aren’t listed in there but will show up in the frontmatter at the very top of the list as plain text type:

  • creation date
  • modification date

I already have these fields at the bottom of the YAML as date types. I’ll delete the two unwanted fields via Source Mode and then they’ll be gone in Reading Mode.

I’ll come back later and the unwanted fields have reappeared.

Would you happen to have community plugins installed which can automatically (or semi-automatically) add such keys ? :thinking:

I know Linter have such a feature but it’s not the only one out there :sweat_smile:

Update time on edit also does this!

Hmm, I have Update modified date plugin, Natural Language Dates, Calendar, and Day Planner. However, I’m only using Templater to insert the right template which includes my chosen created and modified date fields in the frontmatter.
