To disable the note peek

Use case or problem

While editing a note, when I use a keyboard shortcut like ⌘K to add a link, I get the note preview / peek popup if my cursor happens to be positioned over a note in the file explorer. This popup can block my view of what I’m editing and it doesn’t go away unless I move the cursor.

Proposed solution

Add a setting to disable the popup, or add some minimum time that the command key has to be held for it to show, or make it go away when any other key is subsequently pressed.

You can disable it under Settings > Core plugins → Page preview. There are some settings there as well.

An alternative, the Hover editor community plugin, has a setting (in milliseconds) you can change before the hover window is triggered.

Ok, thanks!
