Tips to make Obsidian smoother/better performance?

Recently, typing in Obsidian isn’t as smooth for me as it was before. The CPU of Obsidian remains above 10% when I type with spikes to 40%. Perhaps something changed in recent updates or my computer begins to show its age. :slightly_smiling_face:

Anyhow, are there tips to have Obsidian run smoother?

I already found that, when the backlinks panel isn’t in view, typing goes a little smoother. I’d love to hear if there are other tips, tricks and hacks. :slightly_smiling_face:

@JkNML, you might trying clearing the search field/plugin if there’s an old one sitting there. Since it’s always active, it’ll be searching as you change things and a complex query could chew up some time.
