Timestamps and custom markdown

Hello,

I think it would be nice for the programme to have custom markdown that can add special symbols to todo lists much like a bullet journal. Similar to this implementation by noteplan (www.noteplan.co)

NotePlan Markdown Flavour:

* [x] done
* [>] scheduled
* [-] cancelled

As well as a shortcut to add current time or current date (I don’t know if this can be implemented with a plugin)

Yes! Also timestamps will be amazing.

Extended task list

There are 2 default state: Not done: [ ] , Done [x] Add one more state for task list state Ongoing [-] this will be very helfull for different kind of projects. It will be nice when the button store the date it was checked]. Something like [x]{20192201-1251} it can be set hidden by default in CSS setting. Who wants can use this for other analysis.
