Time-based notes

Newbie here…

What I’m trying to do

I’m trying to get Obsidian to open a note based on the time of day, so for example, open a daily note at say, 8am or on first launch, and open a nightly note at 8pm, and do this every day.

Things I have tried

searching the help docs and google for time-based note opening etc.

The Natural Language Dates community plugin might be able to do what you want, or at least something close to it.
