There doesn't seem to be a downloadable snap file for 1.8.4 installer

What I’m trying to do

is to update the installer as directed.
Current version: 1.8.4
OS: linux/Ubuntu 24.04

Things I have tried

Have been to the Obsidian download page and clicked on the Snap dl but it does not download a file , only takes me to the canonical site. The “install” button does not resolve the issue.

any help would be appreciated

Problem solved.
Was able to update the “installer” by downloading and installing the “Deb” file.
The “AppImage” and “Snap” files did not work per Obsidian’s instructions.
All Good now
and of course, it is such an awesome program.
