The style control options for the embedded search is disappeared

What I’m trying to do

since 1.2.x, the control buttons on the embedded search block is disappeared. And now, it is not possible to fold the embedded search result and not possible to sort the embedded search result base on modification time etc, either

Is it confirmed that the control of the embedded search is removed forever?

Similar options are always available in the linked mention and unlinked mention in both 1.16 and 1.2.x

Embedded searches don’t have controls. It sounds like you’re using the Query Control beta community plugin. Unfortunately, 1.2.x broke that plugin, and I’ve heard its developer doesn’t have time to work on it now.
