The cursor caret doesn't move until you stop holding the arrow key

Steps to reproduce

In a file, hold down an arrow key

Expected result

The cursor caret moves as the key is held down

Actual result

The cursor caret is stuck. It jumps after you release the key

Environment

  • Operating system: Mac 10.15.4
  • Obsidian version: 0.6.4
  • Using custom CSS: No

I can’t reproduce on windows. Do you still have this issue?

Upon further testing I noticed:

  • If I shrink the left sidebar panel all the way, the issue stops happening
  • If I delete all my notes, and my folder only has a few markdown files, the issue stops happening
  • When the issue does happen, it happens with repeating keys in general. For example, if I hold down the x key, a bunch of xs only appear after releasing
  • The issue started happening after I imported a bunch of markdown files from roam (~1000 files or so)
