This isn’t just an aesthetic problem — it blocks use of the toolbar. To use a toolbar button I have to scroll the highlight so it doesn’t overlap. I notice it more on phone than on tablet because of the smaller screen.

This person encountered the problem over a year ago but apparently it cleared up when they disabled plugins. Looks like they were using Advanced Mobile Toolbar or Commander, which I remember having at least one scroll-related bug (I’m using neither, anymore). [Bug] Mobile toolbar unusable when selecting text from bottom to top

I added “and cursor” to the thread title and merged in a report about that.

2. Move page down so that location of cursor is the same as header bar
3. Observe cursor visible over header bar

When selecting text in Obsidian for iPhone, the highlight overlaps with the editing menu positioned above the keyboard.

This makes it awkward to modify the selection, as the selection handle merges with the editing toolbox, sometimes causing the handle to be hidden.

It appears that the editing toolbox on top of the keyboard shares the same layer as the text.
