Excited to share Tempo, a time tracker for your notes with a stats dashboard built right in.
Tempo grew out of Ellpeck’s Simple Time Tracker — he’s kindly given the go-ahead to publish this as a separate plugin, full credit to him for the original tracking core and JS API. Tempo keeps the same idea — a tempo code block that tracks time via timestamps, so a running timer survives note switches, app restarts, even reboots — and adds a second block, tempo-stats, that aggregates time across whichever folders or files you point it at.

tempo-stats: pick folders (recursive, regex-filterable) or single files, pick a time range (today / 7 days / 30 days / custom), and get total time, task count, files scanned, a daily chart, and a leaderboard- Public JS API for Dataview
- Configurable timestamp/duration formats, CSV delimiter, and more
Where I want to take it: I don’t plan to keep this as a minimal timer — the stats side is going to keep growing into a fuller time/task analytics tool. The goal is a different, more expansive tool built on Ellpeck’s foundation, not a replacement for Simple Time Tracker.
