I would like to nest tasks using the tab button, but the Tasks plugin doesn’t seem to allow that. I like the global search feature from Tasks but I also need nested tasks as a way of breaking things down in my TODO list.
Not sure what I should try. I have searched around but haven’t found a good answer to this yet.
Task lists can be nested by default in plain Obsidian. What are you seeing instead with the Tasks plugin?
When the tasks plugin is enabled, pressing tab on my keyboard does not nest the tasks. Instead, tab does nothing. I can nest tasks as desired when the tasks plugin is disabled, but then I lose all the other functionality of the tasks plugin.
Have you checked the issues page on the Tasks plugins GitHub?
Also maybe check the plugin’s description/documentation to see if this is intended behavior (I wouldn’t think so, but you never know).
