Tapping on text will bring you to the top of file

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Obsidian on IOS.
  2. Open a file.
  3. Scroll down in the file until the top of the file is no longer visible.
  4. Tap (below the last text, at the end of a sentence, etc.).
  5. Obsidian will scroll all the way back up to the top as if you tapped at the uppermost line before all text.

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N]

Y.

Expected result

If I scroll down to the bottom and tap the screen at the end of all text, I’d expect that it would allow me to immediately start typing at that exact location, rather than sending me to the top where I did not tap.

Actual result

I got sent to the top.

Additional information

Debug is from after I exited restricted mode…
Obsidian on IOS never used to do this. It’s relatively recent. No other notes app does this.

Same thing happens to me.

I also experience it sometimes “forgetting” stuff that I add to the front matter. Can’t figure out exactly when it happens yet though.

This is fixed in the current insider-mobile-release (beta) in testing. Hang in there for a bit.
