Hi all!

I’m making an Automator on my Mac where pages and attachments get stored automatically in folders. I’m trying to find out where Obsidian stores which tags you have. I’ve tried to find it but can seem to locate it. Does anyone know where they store it (on your Mac, not in the Obsidian editor itself)

I don’t think they get “stored” anywhere. I think they are just read and parsed from the text content of the notes.

There might be an API function you could leverage to grab that data. Or maybe it gets cached somewhere you could read it under ~/Library/Application Support/obsidian/ but that is a pure guess.
