Steps to reproduce

Type something like *#hashtag*. **#hashtag** or ~~#hashtag and some text~~.

Expected result

#hashtag becomes italic/bold/crossed out and clickable in editor/preview. Just as it does when writing **text before #hashtag** for example.

Actual result

#hashtag becomes italic/bold/crossed out but not clickable in editor/preview.

Environment

  • Operating system: macOS 10.15.5
  • Obsidian version: 0.7.6

I am not sure if we should support this.

I noticed that some time ago, and simply avoid it by maintaining the normally required space prior to the hashmark

Hashtags require space or beginning of line right before it, so please use _ #tag_ (* will start a list instead).
