Right now the Tag pane functions as a global tag index. This pane doesn’t hold any relevance in comparison to the other items on the default right side pane.
Take the backlinks pane for instance- it shows content that is relevant to the active page. Personally It feels useless.
I feel that that tag pane would better serve users if it were to show any of the following
- local tag list(ie tags associated with active note)
- tag mentions of local tags(analogous to the backlinks pane) ie, search results of each of the tags mentioned in the selected page.
