I am searching for about 3 hours, and slowly I am becoming desperation.
I am a beginner and have about 200 notes. Now I am beginning tagging this notes. I use the newest version of obsidian (1.9.12).
Up til now, I clicked in the top of the note on the tag line and automatically appears a dropdown menu with “all” tags. Now they are becoming more and more and suddenly the number of tags in this dropdown menu is very limited to about half of my tags. There is no more overview in this dropdown menu.
I would like to know, if there is a setting, a tweak or a plugin to force obsidian, to still show all of my tags in the dropdown menu, regardless of how many tags there are.
The other menu in the right is not so helpful, because I can not choose the tags from there, it is just an overview. But this dropdown menu is the right thing for me.
Thank you for the answer. What I mean is not the list of suggestions, this shows up after I type a letter.
But when I click on the tag-line without typing a letter, the dropdown menu showed me “all” taqs and I could scroll them and click on the right one.
Now I have more tags, and this dropdown menu only shows about half of the tags. Suddenly there is a limit on it.
It’s the same thing. The list that appears before you type anything is not meant to be complete. It sounds like the reason you’re not seeing all your tags anymore is that you added enough tags to exceed the limit of how many it shows. The way you describe it sounds like a more sudden and drastic change than I would expect, tho, so maybe there is something buggy in the way it is behaving.
