make normal intends without it formatting as code
I have mentioned it all in this screenshot
ive been beating myself as it suddenly acting like that as it was note before
this is making me really angry, more than it should.
Indenting a simple sentence/paragraph is actually a way to get a code block in markdown (generally speaking), as mentioned somewhere here: Basic formatting syntax - Obsidian Help
The difference between your 2 screenshots is that in the 1st one you have a heading (todo) directly followed by a simple piece of text (turned into a code block as it’s indented) while in the 2nd screenshot, you still have a heading (Nutrition in Plants) followed by a list in which you have various items and subitems (which where indented using either Tab or a certain amount of spaces)
