Synch PDF Toggle Won’t Stay On So Can’t Sync

I searched in Obsidian help and Obsidian forum.

What I’m trying to do

I’m trying to sync PDFs but I’ m going in circles because the setting won’t save. I toggle on in both pc and phone apps. They both tell me to restart app on other device and app on both devices doesn’t save the toggle on setting. So it just goes in a circle. Please help!

For reasons I don’t understand, the toggles finally stayed in the correct position after several restarts, so this is closed.
