For the last few weeks I’ve noticed multiple instances of notes where half of the content is repeated inside the note. For example, I might have the first 30 lines of a note repeated inside the note - sometimes twice, sometimes triples. I assume it’s a sync issue. Has anyone come across this before?

I have. It might be related to opening a note on one device, then another.
I notice it most with daily notes, but have seen it in others.
A bit scary tbh.
In order for someone to come with good advice, you need to specify which version of Obsidian you’re on, which devices you’re using, and most importantly what synchronisation are you using? Are you using Google Drive? iCloud? Obsidian sync? Dropbox? More than one of the above?

And in particular, if you are using more than one sync tool, that is almost certainly the cause.
It might also sometimes happen if you are using a plugin that automatically adds/deletes/moves content, because that could be interacting/fighting with a sync tool.
Sorry. Version 1.8.9 on MacBook Pro running the latest OS, also on iPhone and iPad running the latest OS. Using Obsidian Sync and no other sync tool. I do have the AUTO MOVE plugin running, but it wouldn’t be touching the notes that have the duplications.
