Sync and corp firewalls

I nave seen this question a couple of time in the forums w/o any real resolution.

I am using Obsidian Sync for work related notes, but on my enterprise PC it fails syncronizing with the Sync service. It works flawlessly on other devices. I assume it is being blocked by our firewall.

  • Are the server hostnames defined anywhere?
  • What ports are being used?

Is it possible in some way to use obsidian sync everywhere, but in a place or two also sync through another service? So to elaborate a bit and to make more sense of what I am asking. And I will discuss using drive as the third party service

  • sync using obsidian sync and to drive
  • on a system hiding behind a firewall, sync to drive

OK not much of an elaboration, but thoughts on this?
