Steps to reproduce

I have two notes open in edit mode. I close one with ctr+w.

Expected result

I expect the note I was writing in to close, and then being able to keep writing in the other one that is still open.

Actual result

However, no cursor appears on the other note, forcing me to click on it to continue writing. There is nothing I can do with the keyboard to change focus.

Environment

  • Operating system: Window 10
  • Obsidian version: Obsidian 0.9.4

This is not a bug per se but it’s not a bad idea.

This is a good point. I just tested it, I thought one of the “Focus on pane” hotkeys would work, but you are right one needs to click on it.

I tend to have a smiliar situation where I need to click on the pane in order to write, I didn’t realize what it was, but pretty sure is the same as this.
