Use case or problem
Sometimes I want to use links and formatting inside the link text between canvas nodes. However, the link text is plain text, not markdown.
One specific application: I’m trying to make a canvas with all of my bank / brokerage accounts as nodes, where the arrow text links to a note describing the cheapest process for moving money between them.
If you:
- Create a link between two cards in a canvas
- Double click the link to edit the link text
- Try writing a markdown link
Then it looks like this:

It would be nice to make canvas link text a markdown field
