Support for Guillemets («») (French quotation marks) in Auto-pair brackets

Problem

Settings → Editor → Behavior → Auto-pair brackets do not support Guillemets («») (French quotation marks), which means that typing them takes longer, causing inconvenience, especially on a phone, where typing characters is not the most pleasant experience to begin with.

The need to use these quotation marks arises at least because regular quotation marks (“”) are not supported in file names.

Proposed solution

Add support for Guillemets («») (French quotation marks) in Auto-pair brackets.
Perhaps also add support for other types of quotation marks.

This doesn’t exactly answer your question, but in this situation I use the “Text Format” plugin. In the “Wrapper” section of this plugin’s options, you can define what should surround a selection of text.

You can use commands created with the “Command palette” or “hotkeys.”
