Support block reference to individual elements within a a callout

Use case or problem

Hello, I am very thankful for your software. I previously posted explaining that there is a formatting issue with block references in callouts, which causes LaTeX to not display correctly and list formatting errors. Actually, the reason is very simple, it’s just caused by the “>” symbol. In that post, I reported it as a bug. There is a detailed display inside. Currently, I have two requests: first, to be able to display normally, which is easy to achieve, just like a regular list. Second, to be able to display the style of the callout, which might be more difficult.

Current workaround

Currently, there is no good alternative method. The only solution is to remove the callout and turn it into a normal list to reference properly. However, because I often write the original text and my own reflections separately, all the callouts are my remarks. Therefore, I cannot delete the “>” symbol in front of them, which would make it unclear whether it is the quoted original text or my own reflections

As shown in the sandbox environment For the file a.md, used to display incorrect format references source-view pre-view

We can see that for ^1 we can reference normally, but the style is not correct, and for ^2 ^3 we cannot reference correctly

For the file b.md, used to display incorrect format references that cause LaTeX to not parse correctly source-view pr-view We can see that for ^2 ^3 the format error causes LaTeX to not parse correctly

I found a way to solve this problem! Although it doesn’t perfectly fix the style, it allows for proper quoting. The method is to add a space after the ‘>’ symbol. If it doesn’t work, just add a few more.

@TheMathGuyd, If you need it too, you can try it. Hope it helps!
