Thanks for this. I’m new to obsidian and still finding what will work for me in the moment and for future use of my notes. I have a TON of prior notes (Anki, other note apps), so finding a way be able to integrate them and look for connections without getting lost or overly obsessed with the setup is on my mind. Forgive the possibly newbie question, but when you say “global index” - what does that mean? Sounds like it’s based on internal links?
