Stuck on loading vault

What I’m trying to do

I am trying to open my main vault but it is stuck on loading workspace.

It has been like this for a couple of hours… before this happened it was stumbling and and would move from note to note as I selected them… the same vault still works fine on my iPad and I have cleared the snapshots on the iPad… am using latest insider releases on both iPad and intel chip iMac?

Things I have tried

I have opened other vaults and they open fine so the problem is clearly with this vault.
I have Obsidian sync and the vault which won’t open on the Mac opens fine on the iPad.
On the iPad I have deleted snapshots but assume this just clears them on the iPad.

I have looked at other reporting of this problem but they seem to be Windows based and the suggestions are contradictory.

You could try closing Obsidian, renaming the .obsidian/community-plugins.json file to something else, and restarting. This will just disable your community plugins. Pretty low impact.

Then in Obsidian, update all the community plugins and enable them one by one with a restart in between to see if the loading error comes back.
