Statusbar didn't show data-vim-mode like "INSERT"

What I’m trying to do

to let my status bar appearance like as powerline theme .

Things I have tried

  1. installed vimrc-support plugin
  2. copied author’s css code into my snippet folder
  3. open this css snippet.

but , it doesn’t work. it only show up the Nerd Font ‘>’, and didn’t see the data-vim-mode like as “INSERT” , or “NORMAL”
