This is driving me insane. Nothing (including \<code>\|\</code> etc) works inside inline code in a table which is 90% off what I am using Obsidian for (code snippets).
This issue still not yet fixed…
Came here to report this issue after it was pointed out to me in another thread and am really astonished to find it has been ongoing since 2020! Is there any fix in the works?
I mean, I love Obsidian, but my primary use for it is in my studies for coding which is often formatted in tables.
Also, in the first post, @WhiteNoise mentions a workaround with \vert. What is \vert and what does it do?
\vert is related to latex blocks, not tables. This bug report covers latex and tables, so the discussion got a bit mixed.
