Use case or problem
When managing multiple workspace layouts in Obsidian, it can become difficult to keep them organized, especially as the number of saved layouts grows. Currently, layouts appear in the order they were created, making it challenging to quickly find or prioritize frequently used ones.
Proposed solution
Introduce a sorting or reordering option for workspace layouts. This could allow users to:
- Manually drag and reorder saved layouts.
- Sort layouts alphabetically or by last used/modified date.
- Pin frequently used layouts to the top for quick access.
This feature would enhance workflow efficiency by making workspace layouts easier to manage and access.
Current workaround (optional)
- Deleting and re-creating layouts in a specific order.
- Using naming conventions (e.g., numbering layouts) to force a specific order.
