Solved: Can not close Tags pane

Can not close the Tags pane: there is no ... button or right-click menu options. Cmd-w hotkey and command Close active pane are not working as well. I can move this pane to another position, but I’m unable to close it completely:

It is interesting, that I can close this pane in the docs vault, but not in the working one:

Bug or am I doing something wrong?

• Obsidian version: 0.8.0, no CSS

I would try updating to the latest version. Looks like you’re one behind.

You should be able to click on ">’ and collapse like below:

One thing I notice in your photo is you have no link pane, just to the left of the tag pane…

There is a difference between ‘Collapsing’ and completely removing the panes. I can collapse the pane. I can not remove it (for example by right-clicking on an icon and choosing ‘Close’).

If you want to completely remove it, go to “settings/plugins” and untoggle “Tag pane.”
