SOC 2 / ISO 27001 Certification

Hi there,

I’d love to use Obsidian/sync in a corporate setting but we require SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification. Apologies if I missed it as I dug through the website but I’m guessing Dynalist doesn’t have either of these certifications?

If that’s true, are there any plans in the near future to begin the certification process?

We don’t have either of those certs, correct.

We are a small company, of only 6 people, not all full-time.
At the moment we just can’t expense the time needed to get such a certification.

That said, when not using our add-on services Obsidian is completely local.
You can even block it from accessing the network, and it will not complain (well, when checking for updates/community plugins it will, but that is to be expected)
