This part in the template is regex // that is basically saying: .* look through anything until you find -WL-W in the title.
So often times my files have the day in ISO 8601 format at the start and .* is the easiest way to just search through anything, because I didn’t want to have to specify the formatting for the if to look through since it isn’t important to me.
So the file could be titled: !@#$%^&asdf-WL-W asdfghjkl. The template would see -WL-W and then place the correct template in the file.
The -%> is telling templater to remove any whitespaces/new lines so that it appears as 1 line with no with empty lines where the if statement was. Without it I would end up with a space or new line at the top of my newly created file.
