I’ve used Obsidian for over a year now and I’ve never found a way to comfortably manage my task. Your workflow might be the solution I was searching for, so thank you for sharing @jsliang !
Quick question: When you write that the «The actual tasks live in other topic notes », I found myself curious - what does this file look like (I assumed it is only one because you don’t work with daily notes… ?) Do you simply write the task first on top of the page? Do you delete some of them after a while?
My current workflow is a bit similar, but I find the single to-do page to be quite long after a couple of months, and I’m not sure what I’m supposed to keep or delete, other than my recurrent tasks. If you have one, what is your approach? Of course, project tasks or meetings are easier to include in separate pages, but I am a bit confused as to where the ordinary things, like buying milk, for example, would be written in the vault.
Thank you.
