Use case or problem

I’d like to have my TODO-list embedded in the daily note template, so that every day, when writing notes, I could also update the TODO-list from within the current daily note. Having to switch to the preview-mode to view the embed makes me not to ever actually view it.

Proposed solution

Don’t show just the ![[TODO]] text for the embed, instead show the embedded file in a block under it, fully editable.

I was just searching for this feature when I tried to include my habit tracker from the weekly into the daily notes… :smile:
In general I would appreciate if I had an option for included notes to blend in more into the including note (behavior & visual).
