Hi there, thanks for building this tool! It’s really cool. I build a lot of my canvasses with embedded text, and currently the share feature does not display any embedded text, even for my published site which I have provided a link to, so it should be able to find the source of the text. The attached screenshot is what it looks like currently. Thanks!
I’m getting empty boxes (per image below) as a few others have reported.
My publish site is just a regular one; no password protection (Welcome! - Fil's Commonplace Book - Obsidian Publish)
The canvas does look right when I view it in Obsidian.
I used publish.obsidian.md/fas-cpb/
as the site when configuring sharecanvas.
Can anyone suggest what I’m doing wrong?
@wkevwang thank you so much for this!
Any update on the open sourced version?
@wkevwang, I put in my publish link, but am getting the following issue
Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information).
If I don’t put a link, my canvas will show up but does not have any embedded links from my published page.
This is really cool. Is it possible to make it compatible with websites created via the Digital Garden plugin?
Hey thank you so much for putting this together!
This is great, I’d love to start using it for sharing my .canvas files with potential clients.
However the Buy me a coffee
can lead them to think that I’m asking them personally for donations.
To solve this, would it be possible for you to change that to:
Buy the creator of sharecanvas.io a coffee
or
Donate to the creator of sharecanvas.io
that would clear up that confusion, since at the moment I don’t feel comfortable sharing this with my clients and potential clients if it makes it seem like I’m asking them for a donation, because that’s the first impression they’ll get when they see the Buy me a coffee
button
Thanks
Hi, thank you for the feature, but can the uploaded files be deleted after uploading?
