As of 0.8.2, this fix was made:
Some parts of the interface previously allowed text selection, which was confusing. That should no longer happen.
This has caused text not to be selectable in components such as search and backlinks. I have found it useful to copy/paste from these components. Examples:
- Reference backlinks in a note by copying filename from backlinks pane and pasting into note
- Transform a partial search to exact match search by copying from search results and pasting into search input
In general, I think any component that provides file names or content should have selectable text for the purpose of content re-use.
